Audio-Visual Teams: Operates the sound system for the 8:00 am service and operates the video, sound and lighting for the 10:15 am service.
Acolytes: Elementary and pre-teen youth who assist the clergy at the altar during the service.
Adult Sunday School: Meets at 9:15 am between the two services. We study various books of the Bible and discuss their relevance to today’s issues.
Altar Guild: Prepares the altar for worship each Sunday and cleans up after the service. There is a separate team for each service.
Common Ground: Meets during the school year on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm for a shared meal and, at 6:45 pm, divides into small groups for Bible studies, book reviews or studies on videos covering various topics. Pick your interest and join us!
Congregational Care: A ministry for those who are sick, home or hospital-bound or who need assistance during the week.
Lector: Reads one of the lessons, usually the Old Testament, on Sunday morning.
LEM: (Lay Eucharist Minister). Assists the clergy during the Sunday morning services through reading of Scripture and assisting with Eucharist. Our LEM’s also bring home communion.
Library Guild: Administers our new Warren P. Schilling Library dedicated in late 2007.
Praise Team: For those who are called to use their talents to lead the congregation in praise and worship at our 10:15 am Contemporary Service. Use your musical gifts of voice or by playing instruments to His glory.
Prayer Group: A group of Prayer Warriors who meets at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays before Common Ground to pray for Hope Church and the issues we face, as well as those on our prayer list. If you are a Prayer Warrior, join this group for some intercessory praying.
Prayer Team: During communion at the 8:00 & 10:15 service, prayer teams are available in the back of the sanctuary to pray with those seeking God’s touch.
Ushers and Greeters: Help with welcoming people into our church and assist during the service.
Work Group: An every-other-month “spruce up the church” day on the 3rd Saturday.
