Search Committee Update: Reported by Ellen Dillon, "Your search committee and vestry met with our first candidate (of this 2nd round)  during the weekend of November 22-23,2008 and have the 2nd one scheduled for meeting in 2 weeks. We were very impressed with the first person, if the second one is as impressive-the good Lord and the vestry will have a challenge!"The vestry is hopeful that all  final interviews will be conducted during the month of December, 2008. Please continue to contribute to the pastor's fund as all the folks we are interviewing are married, and some of them have children, which will mean that we need more monies." 

YOUTH LEADER FOR HOPE NEEDED -The search is on for a part-time Youth Leader for Hope. Requirements are; over the age of 18 years old, a high school graduate, enjoys sharing time with youth 12-18 years of age. Can work 3-6 hours per week, leading a Youth Group on Wednesday evenings & leading a teen Sunday School class on Sunday mornings. Can coordinate outings & programs/activities/curriculum for Youth Group and Sunday School for the school year of 2008 / 2009. Can work well with other adults in the planning and development of the Youth program here at Hope.

" Common Ground" dinner and study program starting on December 3rd and going for three(3) sessions will be using Rick Warren's new study" The Purpose of Christmas". DO NOT MISS  this inspirational and thought provoking look at God's purpose for each of us during this holiday season.

We will have dinner at 6:00p.m. each Wednesday, followed by the study from 6:45 p.m.-8:00p.m. We will have childcare available, as well as Christmas crafts for the older children.

CALLING ALL WEBSITE CONTRIBUTORS- Do you have something you want to add on  the website?  Send your text worded exactly as you want it to appear to the Church Office. The administrator will then get it approved & pass on to the Web Master for publishing it on the site. Please, note any picture(s) to be submitted can not be any larger than 60-80K this is the maximum size we can accept. The picture(s) also need to be approved and have signed release paperwork submitted to the Church Office before publication.  (Please bear with us as we configure and refine the web site. )
